PartyPoker is by far the world’s largest poker room. The opponents are terrible and the game selection dwarfs any other site. Sit-n-gos fill up in 30 seconds. Cash game tables are always full, yet you almost never have to wait to get in the game.

Strengths: This is the fishiest site in the world. There is no logic to the way most PartyPoker customers play. You will get rewarded handsomely for playing on this site if you keep your cool. Deposits and withdrawals are easy to make and there is always some kind of promotion running to reward loyal players.

Weaknesses: The customer service, though above average, leaves something to be desired. PartyPoker’s e-mail support team is usually equipped to answer only the most basic support questions. Highly specific questions are often answered with form letters that have nothing to do with the question asked. However, PartyPoker is one of the few sites where you can actually speak to a live support technician on the phone toll-free, 24 hours a day, which is good peace of mind. The minor support problems don’t stop me from playing there. Issues always get resolved, but in my opinion, it usually takes a little longer than it should.

Satellites: PartyPoker satellites are fantastic! You can win entry to the World Series of Poker, their Caribbean cruise and a handful of other special events they sponsor, most of which are televised. I like PartyPoker because they run various levels of satellites. Their most innovative are their “Step” satellites, which allow you to qualify for major events through a series of single-table satellites you can play at your convenience. They also offer numerous super-satellites, qualifiers and sub-qualifiers. Try to qualify for the PartyPoker Million cruise. You’ll have a great time. I speak from experience.

Financial Transactions: The minimum deposit is $50. The maximum deposit varies. Transactions are usually completed the same day you make them, often within minutes.

Bottom Line: Break-even players on other sites are small winners at PartyPoker and small winners on other sites are big winners at PartyPoker. Play here a lot and you will win a lot. Learn to play multiple tables well and you will be rewarded handsomely. I turned $50 into over $15,000 here in one year and I still play as often as possible.
